The Emmett Technique is a simple, gentle and non-intrusive muscle release technique developed by Ross Emmett. The technique is useful in addressing pain and discomfort and to improve movement in restricted or problematic areas such as the shoulders, neck and back. Emmett uses light finger pressure at specific locations to initiate a gentle release of tension in problem areas.
The Emmett practitioner is skilled in the art of applying the right amount of pressure in the right direction for the right amount of time. This combination of elements, unique  to each individual creates the desired physical change.
The EMMETT technique may aid with symptoms of the following:
